Despite the previous lockdowns, vaccination campaigns, and establishment of vaccine-producing enterprises, the Middle East is still suffering from high daily infections.

Syria and occupied Palestine for instance, are witnessing spikes in COVID-19, with the former having its hospitals overcrowded.

Nevertheless, INGOs appear to be focusing on the health sector and how they can upgrade it to meet the epidemiological situation.
