His Eminence Bishop Constantine (Kayyal) celebrated the Vespers service and Aggripnia on the Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Antioch and the Alexandretta District

Delegated by His Beatitude Patriarch John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, and President of the Middle East Council of Churches for the Orthodox Family, Bishop Constantine (Kayyal), Abbot of the Patriarchal Monastery of Saint Elias Shouwaya and Rev. Archimandrite Efthymios Fakas celebrated the Vespers service and Aggripnia in the Church of the Apostle Paul (House of Saint Paul) in Tarsus. For the first time, the Church of Antioch celebrates this prayer in the home of the Apostle Paul.
On the morning of the Feast, His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cave of the Apostle Peter in Antioch, and a group of parish priests from the Alexandretta and Antioch Districts assisted him in the service, in the presence of the heads of associations and a crowd of believers.
His Grace made a series of pastoral inspection visits in various parishes, and the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, which was destroyed during the earthquake in February 2023.
In his sermon, Bishop Constantine conveyed the blessing and prayers of His Beatitude Patriarch John X and during pastoral visits, he expressed His Beatitude’s love for the families over there.
