His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo on the occasion of Palms Sunday, at St. Peter and St. Paul Cathedral in Baghdad

On April 13, 2025, His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), celebrated the Holy Qurobo on the occasion of Palms Sunday, at St. Peter and St. Paul Cathedral in Baghdad.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness was assisted by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, in the presence of His Eminence Mor Severius Hawa, Archbishop of Baghdad and Basra.
During the special service of Palms Sunday, His Holiness and the clergy walked in a procession among the children holding candles and branches of olive and palm.
