The Coptic Orthodox Church Mourns His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

The Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, mourns the departure of His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, the Former Pope of the Vatican. He departed today, at the age of 95, after he spent his life serving the Roman Catholic Church in various roles. He was the best successor to the best predecessor.
