His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Inaugurates the “ADISC, Aleppo Development Impact Support Center”

On October 16, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, inaugurated “ADISC, Aleppo Development Impact Support Center” in Aleppo which is under the Hope Center.

The inauguration was also attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.

His Eminence Cardinal Mario Zenari, Apostolic Nuncio in Damascus, His Excellency Mar Antoine Audo Chaldean Archbishop of Aleppo, Very Rev. Fr. Raymond Gerges, Latin Apostolic Administrator of Syria, and Rev. Ibrahim Nseir, were also present in the inauguration.

After the inauguration, His Holiness visited the premises of the Center and listened to a brief introduction by the President of Hope Center in Syria Dr. Safir Salim, about the work of Hope Center and their mission among the youth in Syria, especially in Aleppo.
