A) On Friday, May 21st, 2021, His Holiness Aram I received a letter from His Holiness Pope Francis concerning a plan regarding the current situation in Lebanon.

B) On the passing of Dr. Soritua Nababan, His Holiness Aram I extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and the the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA). In his letter, His Holiness expressed his appreciation of the legacy of Dr. Nababan in the ecumenical movement. Dr. Soritua Nababan has served as vice-moderator of the Central and Executive Committees of the WCC between 1991-1998, when His Holiness Aram I was the moderator, and has participated in various ecumenical conferences and assemblies at the Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias.  

C) On May 16th, 2021, CCA held a virtual Asian Sunday Service. Deaconess Annie Christy Manvelian from the Armenian Prelacy in Tehran participated in the event. The Prelate Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian, member of CCA, addressed the audience highlighting the significance of the event in the region, as well as shed light on the humanitarian services of the region’s churches …
