Momentum, the Weekly Newsletter from the Middle East Council of Churches

In the new issue of the weekly newsletter Momentum issued by the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Middle East Council of Churches you can find an invitation from MECC to participate in an online discussion about Anti-Racism and Anti-Segregation, on Wednesday 30th of March 2022. As for the message of the Secretary General Dr. Michel Abs, it was entitled this week “The Middle East Council of Churches: Towards the Twelfth General Assembly”.

The issue also presents a news about the visit of His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II in Egypt. During the meeting His Holiness praised the MECC 12th General Assembly that will be held between 16 and 20 May 2022 at the Papal Logos Center in Wadi El Natrun, Egypt, under the title of “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid” (Matthew 14:27).

The issue also includes details and photos about the afforestation campaign organized by MECC at the Lebanese town of Monteverde, in partnership with Danmission organization and in collaboration with a group of youth from the Armenian Evangelical Church in Dora, Lebanon.
