Video – Episode 6 of the “Season of Creation” 2022 Videos Podcasts

The Recycling Project in the Patriarchal Maronite Eparchy Region of Jounieh, Lebanon

During the ongoing “Season of Creation” 2022, it is necessary to highlight some environmental initiatives so it may motivate us to work together for a clean environment and a safe common home. Hence, the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Middle East Council of Churches presents in the sixth episode of the series of videos podcasts it has launched, the recycling project implemented by the Patriarchal Maronite Eparchy Region of Jounieh in Lebanon with the help of youth.

Episode 6 is below and the guests are Father Gabriel Matar, Priest in the Saint Maroun Parish in Haret Sakher affiliated to the diocese, and Charbel Lteif, an architect. They shed light on this project, its challenges and humanitarian, environmental and theological goals, stressing the importance of the Church's role in environmental issues. They also give tips to Churches and youth to implement such environmental projects in their Parishes and communities.
