A Round Table at the Invitation of the Middle East Council of Churches

As part of its monthly series of seminars, the Middle East Council of Churches invites you to a round table it organizes under the title "Women and Human Dignity", on Thursday 27 October 2022, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Beirut. This round table will be implemented in the framework of the MECC mission and role in building the social capital, maintaining social cohesion and preserving human dignity, as it seeks to contribute to highlighting the issue of women’s dignity and full citizenship. Hence, the round table aims to shed light on the obstacles that limit the full participation of women in the social, economic and political life of the country, while recognizing what has been achieved in this context.
