The new issue of the weekly newsletter Momentum issued by the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Middle East Council of Churches, presents the meeting of His Holiness Pope Francis and the Christian leaders in the Vatican for prayer and meditation on the intention of Lebanon. Hence, MECC called in a special statement for unity in prayer with those who are gathering for Lebanon, which is today as if it was under the cross, struggling to survive in the face of crises and disasters.

In addition, the weekly message of the Secretary General Dr. Michel Abs expressed the pain of Lebanon and the suffer of its people in light of the crises, and the goal of the Vatican meeting, entitled "Rome, Prayers and an Overpowered People".

It also Includes an Ecumenical calendar issued by the Middle East Council of Churches, several articles and exclusive interviews, such as a special article about the Commemoration of Saints Peter and Paul, Leaders of the Apostles “The joy of Christians in Syria Is Renewed”, and another one entitled “The Church Celebrates Its Founders Saints Peter and Paul, “… Upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18)”; MECC Departments’ news, various Ecumenical reports, videos related to the Council, weekly Prayer, and news of the Middle Eastern Churches.
