Following the Beginning of the Vaccination Campaigns, Are People Still Hesitated?
Report: 21 April 2021
Despite the drive to deliver vaccines to the population, many ME citizens are still reluctant to take the vaccine.
For instance, the acceptance rates of vaccination are just 23% in Kuwait and 28% in Jordan, making the various national immunization plans difficult to implement.
From the various surveys done, it's clear that vaccine hesitancy in the Middle East is partially based on the same safety concerns: a fear of the potential side effects, and the speed at which the COVID-19 vaccine was developed.
