Developing the working group performance in any institution or organization contributes the most in enhancing the work mechanisms and improving the productivity. The Middle East Council of Churches is keen to organize periodic training courses for its department’s teams aiming at developing their skills in various fields in order to achieve the desired Ecumenical and humanitarian goals.

Hence, a new financial training has been implemented. It was prepared and presented by the Director of the MECC Finance Department Mrs. Manal Bechara Bou Habib, who gave a detailed presentation on how to create an effective financial planning, in addition to budgeting methods for programs.

The training was held on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 November 2021 at the headquarters of the MECC General Secretariat in Beirut. The Council team in Beirut participated alongside the team from Syria and Jordan offices.

On the second day, MECC Secretary General Dr. Michel Abs visited the participants during the training, and praised their efforts to develop their capabilities and improve the workflow.

The sessions also included practical exercises for the acquired techniques in order to share experiences.
