Interview on Télé Lumière and Noursat with Eng. Samer Laham, Director of the MECC Diakonia Department, Focusing on MECC Beirut Appeal

Télé Lumière - Noursat dedicated a weekly segment for the Middle East Council of Churches every Thursday in "AL Nour Maana" show, to discuss the latest updates regarding the MECC appeal as well its relief and development projects in Beirut.

Last week, Eng. Samer Laham, the director of MECC Diakonia department, was the guest of the journalist Lea Maamari on the show. During the interview via Skype, Mr. Laham highlighted the MECC Beirut Appeal and the international fundraising campaign which was launched to provide relief to Beirut. He mentioned the first donations offered by His Holiness Tawadros II, the Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church...., on behalf of the Egyptian people. Mr. Laham also stressed the continuous humanitarian role played by the Council since its inception in 1974.
