Télé Lumière - Noursat dedicated a weekly segment for the Middle East Council of Churches every Thursday in "Al Nour Maana" show, to discuss the latest updates regarding the MECC appeal as well its relief and development projects in Beirut.

Last week, the journalist Huguette Salameh, director of the MECC Communication and Public Relations Department, was the guest of the program. During her phone interview, she underlined the “Trauma Healing and Spiritual Counseling" program organized by the Theological and Ecumenical Department, under the supervision of Sr. Emilie Tannous, and which aimed at supporting a group of Lebanese youth spiritually and psychologically after the Beirut explosion. Salameh also highlighted the role that this department is playing in rehabilitating human beings, and mentioned the relief and humanitarian work that the council’s Diakonia department is doing.
