The MECC has rehabilitated Six Schools in Dara’a Governorate | Syria

The MECC Diakonia Department in Syria has rehabilitated six schools in Dara’a Al Balad and Kherbet Ghazaleh areas in Dara’a Governorate. 2625 students will benefit from the project that included the rehabilitation of classrooms, playgrounds, and WASH infrastructure in addition to the rehabilitation of school fences, student desks, painting, electrical wiring and the installation of windows, tiles, wooden doors, and water tanks.

This project contributed to improve the school environment and, consequently, enabling students to return to school; especially that many of them were out of school during the years of the crisis.

MECC has rehabilitated more than 90 schools in various Syrian governorates since the beginning of the crisis.
