MECC at the ICFLC Meeting in support of Women's Programs in Abokobi - Ghana
The Middle East Council of Churches, represented by Ms. Karineh Sahakian, participated in the 39th Annual Meeting of the International Committee for the Fellowship of the Least Coin – ICFLC at the Center for the Evangelical Presbyterian Women Center in Abokopi -Accra, Ghana from 12th to 18th of October, 2019.
The meeting was attended by Mercy Amba Oduyoye, Mother of African Women’s Theology, who was the guest speaker in the opening session, as well as a large number of women who meet annually to raise money, and distribute it to various relief and development organizations around the world, in contribution to women's support programs and abilities. The representative of the Middle East Council of Churches also presented the Council's report on the activities and programs implemented by the Council in support of ICFLC to serve women and their families in the Middle East.
