On May 14, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Mary Church in Manchester.

During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Eustatheus Isaak, Metropolitan Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom, Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan Trustee of our church in India, and Mor Anthimos Mathews, Metropolitan of the Muvattupuzha Region of the Angamali Region, in the presence of their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Athanasius Touma Dakkama, Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom, Mor Theophilus Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary and Patriarchal Vicar in Europe, and Mor Christophoros Markose, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India.
