His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Arrives to Manchester

On May 11, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, arrived to Manchester for an Apostolic visit to consecrate St. Mary Church.

His Holiness was received at the Airport in Manchester by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Eustatheus Isaak, Metropolitan Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom, Mor Theophilus Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary and Patriarchal Vicar in Europe, Mor Anthimos Mathews, Metropolitan of the Muvattupuzha Region of the Angamali Region, and a delegation of priests from the Churches.

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Christophoros Markose, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India, and Very Rev. Raban Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
