His Holiness Catholicos Aram I celebrates the Vigil Service for the Eve of the Antelias Pilgrimage Day
On the evening of Saturday, April 5, 2025, a vigil service was held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias to commemorate the Antelias Pilgrimage Day. His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, presided over the service and delivered a sermon focused on the theme of the Christ-Light.
During his sermon, His Holiness emphasized that St. Gregory’s mission was to spread this Light within the Armenian nation, a mission that is urgently needed in today’s world, where darkness can often be felt in our lives and civilizations. In his concluding remarks, His Holiness encouraged everyone to remain faithful to the Christ-Light and to strive to illuminate their own lives and those of others around them.
