His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the services of the worship and burial of the Cross at St. George Cathedral in Bab Touma - Damascus

On April 18, 2025, is Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) celebrated the services of the worship and burial of the Cross at St. George Cathedral in Bab Touma - Damascus.

Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, were also present.

After the sermon, His Holiness carried the crucifix in a procession and concluded the prayer with the service of the burial.
