The Construction of Bezikian Convention Center at the Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias

Upon the request of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, Mr. Zareh Bezikian and his daughter Ani, will sponsor the construction of a five-floor multipurpose building at the Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias, Lebanon. This very generous gesture is as well an expression of love and gratitude towards Mr. Zareh Bezikian’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alecco and Ani Bezikian. The center will be called BEZIKIAN CONVENTION CENTER (ՊԷԶԻՔԵԱՆ ԿԵԴՐՈՆ) and it will host the following activities:

1) Events Hall with 500 seats (ground and first floor).

2) Multipurpose Hall for 300 persons for cultural and social activities (second floor).

3) Conference Hall for 200 participants and next to it, a meeting-room for 30 persons (third floor).

4)  A private area and office for His Holiness with guest rooms and space for formal receptions (fourth floor).

5) The basement will include rooms and offices for the preparation of special events and activities.

The halls and the rooms will be fully equipped with all advanced technological devices and facilities. Construction work will begin immediately, and the estimated time of completion is September 19, 2026.
