His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II arrives to Baghdad

On April 11, 2025, His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church of the World, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches arrived to Baghdad. He presided over the ramsho prayer at St Peter and St Paul Cathedral.

His Holiness was received by his Eminence Severius Hawa, Archbishop of Baghdad and Basra, as well as the priests of the Archdiocese.

He was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, and Monk Behnam Babawi.
