Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue Between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches Meet Online

On January 27 and 28, 2025, the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches held an online meeting to evaluate the past 20 years of the commission’s work.

With the blessing of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, HE Arch. Nareg Alemezian represented the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia.

During the meeting, the members decided to present their report to the heads of the Oriental Orthodox Churches. After receiving their blessing, they will meet with representatives of the Catholic Church to discuss the future direction of the dialogue.
