H.H. Pope Tawadros II Inaugurates the Coptic Monasticism Seminar

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark inaugurated the Coptic Monasticism Seminar, which is taking place from February 15 to 21 at the LOGOS Papal Center in Saint Bishoy's Monastery, Wadi El-Natroun. The event is attended by the rapporteur of the Synodal Committee for Monasticism and Monastery Affairs; H.G. Bishop Danial, Bishop & Abbot of Saint Paul's Monastery in the Red Sea, as well as abbots of Coptic monasteries and delegations of monks representing various Coptic monasteries.
His Holiness delivered the first lecture, titled: "The Holy Bible in the Life of Saint Anthony."
This year’s seminar focuses on "The Letters of Saint Anthony."
Meanwhile, the workshop discussions will explore monastic commandments and principles through the epistles of Saint Paul the Apostle.
