On the evening of Wednesday, January 8, 2025, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, received His Beatitude Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI, Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church and President of the Middle East Council of Churches for the catholic family, who visited to extend Christmas greetings.

The meeting fostered a warm atmosphere for discussing important issues impacting Armenia, the upcoming presidential election in Lebanon and the changing situation in Syria. They underscored the urgent need for unity within the Christian community, especially among Armenians.
