The Greek Translation of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I’s “The Armenian Church” is Released

In 2016, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, published “The Armenian Church,” a comprehensive account of the Armenian Orthodox Church that covers its history, structure, theology, rites and rituals. This significant work has been translated into Arabic, French, Persian, Russian, and German. Recently, the Greek translation was released, following a decision by the Holy Synod of the Greek Orthodox Church.

The Greek translation was completed by His Eminence Metropolitan Gabriel, who also wrote the foreword. Furthermore, His Eminence Archbishop Kegham Khatcherian, the Former Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy in Greece, played a central role in bringing this translation to fruition.
