His Beatitude Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI, Visits His Holiness Catholicos Aram I

On Tuesday evening, August 20th, 2024, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, received His Beatitude Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of the Armenian Catholic Church, and President of the Middle East Council of Churches for the Catholic Family, who was accompanied by His Eminence Bishop Robert (Krikor) Badichah, Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarchal Eparchy of Beirut.

In attendance with His Holiness Catholicos Aram I were: His Eminence Archbishop Shahe Panossian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy in Lebanon; His Eminence Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Director of the Cilicia Library of the Catholicosate; V. Rev. Fr. Sdepanos Pashayan, Director of the Christian Education Department of the Catholicosate; V. Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian, Dean of the Armenian Theological Seminary; V. Rev. Fr. Hovagim Panjarjian, Director of the Information and Communication Department of the Catholicosate; and V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian—Officer of the Middle Eastern section of the Ecumenical and Inter-religious Relations Department of the Catholicosate.

During the meeting, they discussed issues concerning Armenians, Armenia, and Lebanon, emphasizing the imperative of strengthening unity among Armenians everywhere.
