His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Celebrates the Holy Qurobo at St. Georges Church in Zaydal, Syria, And Bestows the Pectoral Cross to Rev. Fr. Gabriel Hazim
On July 14, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Georges Church in Zaydal, Syria.
His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary. His Grace Bishop Mor Iwannis Boulos Al-Souqi was also present.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II bestowed the Pectoral Cross to the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Gabriel Hazim in appreciation of his years of ministry to the parish in Zaydal.
