His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the Holy Liturgy on the occasion of the declaration of Sainthood of the Massabki Maronite Brothers

On November 22, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, attended the Holy Liturgy on the occasion of the declaration of Sainthood of the Massabki Maronite Brothers, at St. Antonios Maronite Cathedral in Bab Touma.

His Beatitude Greek Catholic Melkite Patriarch Joseph Absi, and His Eminence Cardinal Mario Zenari, Apostolic Nuncio in Damascus, were also present along the hierarchs of the Christian Churches in Damascus.

His Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, accompanied His Holiness to the retreat.
