Reverend Dr. Paul Haidostian and Armenian Evangelical Pastors on a Visit to the Armenian National Sanatorium at Azounieh, Lebanon

A gathering of Armenian Evangelical Pastors accompanied Reverend Dr. Paul Haidostian, Acting President of the Union of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East (UAECNE), President of Haigazian University in Lebanon, and President of the Middle East Council of Churches for the Evangelical Family, on an official New Year’s visit to the Armenian National Sanatorium at Azounieh, Lebanon, on 9 January 2024. The UAECNE, along with the Armenian Church of the Great House of Cilicia, have partnered for over a century in overseeing the work of the Sanatorium.

Residents, staff and board members gathered in the Chapel for a short morning service of Prayer and Worship, during which Reverend Dr. Paul Haidostian offered a reflection on the Lord Jesus’ words in the Beatitudes (Matthew 5.3-12). The service concluded with the singing of the Hayr Mer, after which Reverend Dr. Haidostian met with board and staff members, greatly appreciating their dedication to sustaining the quality of care at the Sanatorium, and encouraging them to consider their positions as opportunities to offer service in a family atmosphere…
