His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Celebrates the Holy Qurobo on the Feast of the Pentecost at St. George Patriarchal Cathedral in Bab Touma, Damascus

On June 4, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, celebrated the Holy Qurobo on the occasion of the Feast of the Pentecost, at St. George Patriarchal Cathedral in Bab Touma - Damascus, Syria.

His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Cyril Babi, Patriarchal Vicar for the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Mor George Kourieh, Patriarchal Vicar in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.

During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the special three services of the Pentecost and the clergy sprinkled water on the faithful as a symbol of the dwelling of the Holy Spirit on the disciples in the Pentecost in Jerusalem.
