Under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Joseph Kassab, the Evangelical Churches in Beirut Celebrates the 506th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation

Under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Joseph Kassab, President of the Supreme Council of Evangelical Community in Syria and Lebanon, General Secretary of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon, and Member of the Executive Committee of the Middle East Council of Churches, the Evangelical Churches of the Beirut region gathered on Sunday, 29 October 2023, to celebrate the 506th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.

Taking place at Resurrection Church - Hadath, the service of worship was entitled “Reformation Brings Us Together”, with the Sermon preached by Reverend Nabil Habibi. Prayers were made for Gaza as well as for Artsakh, and songs of praise were offered in Arabic and Armenian, the latter presented by Armenian Evangelical pastors and youth.
