His Eminence Bishop Hosam Elias Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, and the Primate of the Episcopal Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East, and the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East, attended on Saturday morning, September 30, 2023, an Ordinary General Consistory headed by His Holiness Pope Francis, during which he appointed 21 new Cardinals, in the courtyard of the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican.
