His Beatitude Patriarch John X Holds the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qasaa

His Beatitude Patriarch John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, and President of the Middle East Council of Churches for the Orthodox Family, held a Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qasaa. His Beatitude was assisted by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of São Paulo and all of Brazil, Damaskinos (Mansour), and their Graces, Bishops: Romanos (al-Hannat), Moussa (Al-Khoury), Ioannis (Batach), Arsanios (Dahdal), Moses (al-Khosi), as well as several Priests and Deacons.
In his sermon, His Eminence Damaskinos expressed the importance of holiness in the life of a Christian and touched on the issue of declaring the sainthood of the fathers Nicholas and Habib Khasha as living contemporary models of the holiness of the entire family. In hope, His Eminence called for work on a project to sanctify our families in the East and the countries of the diaspora.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude Patriarch John X welcomed His Eminence Damaskinos’ presence among his family in Damascus.
