His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Attended the Special Service of Palms Sunday at the Hungarian Reformed Church

On April 10, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, answered the invitation of His Grace Archbishop Zoltan Balog, President of the Synod of the Hungarian Reformed Church, to attend the special service of Palms Sunday in Budapest.

His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, accompanied His Holiness.

His Holiness conveyed the greetings of the faithful of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Syria to the people of Hungary, thanking them for their constant support of the people of Syria and the persecuted Christians in general.
