His Holiness Pope Tawadros II Congratulates His Beatitude Patriarch Anba Ibrahim Isaac for Christmas

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II congratulated His Beatitude Patriarch Anba Ibrahim Isaac, Patriarch of the Coptic Catholics in Egypt and Head of the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Egypt, for Christmas, that many Churches celebrate on 25 December.

On the morning of Sunday 25 December 2022, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II visited the Coptic Catholic Patriarchal Residence in Kobry el Qubba, Egypt, and with him was a Church delegation, where His Holiness was received by the Patriarch, Metropolitans and priests of the Catholic Church.

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II expressed his happiness at preserving the tradition of exchanging visits on occasions, and his happiness for meeting the Patriarch, the Bishops and all the attendees.

His Beatitude Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II for his love that His Holiness shows in all situations.

The Church delegation that was with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II were: His Eminence Metropolitan Danial, Metropolitan of Maadi and Holy Synod Secretary, His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop, Bishop Eklemandos, General Bishop of Almaza, Amal City & East Nasr City, His Grace Bishop Mikhael, General Bishop of Hadaia El Qobba & El-Waili, Fr Sergius Sergius, Patriarchal Vicar in Cairo, Fr Kyrollos St Bishoy, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II’s office manager, Fr Moussa Ibrahim, the Church’s spokesperson, Mr Gerges Saleh, Honorary Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches, and Deacon Ramy Rezk, from the secretary of His Holiness.
