His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Inaugurates the First Gathering of the Syrian Christian Youth Leaders

On October 26, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, officially inaugurated the First Gathering of the Syrian Christian Youth Leaders, convened at Ebla Conference Center in Damascus. The theme of the gathering is entitled “Together today for a better future”.

The gathering is organized by Hope Center, under the auspices of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate.

The opening session was attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, Mor Boutros Kassis, Archbishop of Aleppo and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director. His Eminence Cardinal Mario Zenari, Apostolic Nuncio in Damascus, as well as their Excellencies the Archbishops from Damascus, also attended the gathering.
