His Holiness Catholicos Aram I Headed the Teachers’ Meeting of the Armenian Theological Seminary

The Armenian Theological Seminary of the Holy See of Cilicia held a teachers’ meeting ahead of the 2022-2023 academic year, headed by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.

The dean of the Seminary V. Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian started the meeting and announced that the Seminary is pleased to receive new and returning students for the new academic year. Subsequently, he invited the Catholicos to deliver his pontifical blessings and offer his thoughts on the mission, vision and core values of the Seminary.

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I reminded the teachers about the vital role of the Seminary not only for the church but also for the Armenian nation as it prepares the future generation of apostles ready to serve their people in various fields. His Holiness concluded his remarks congratulating the efforts made by the teachers and wished them a fruitful and successful year.

It is worth mentioning that this year V. Rev. Fr. Avedik Der Garabedian, V. Rev. Fr. Kevork Karageozian and V. Rev. Fr. Azad Filikian will be assisting the dean.
