His Holiness Pope Tawadros II Witnesses the Presentation of the “Tomorrow’s Servant” Project in Alexandria
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, witnessed ,on Saturday the 8th of October 2022 , at the Papal Residence Theatre in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria, a presentation of a project to prepare the Church’s children for service from an early stage with a spiritual curriculum, which is advanced in special skills and creativity and it is entitled “Tomorrow’s Servant.. The Church’s Dream for Tomorrow “.
The first season of the project targets children in 5th and 6th grades in the churches of the Central District of Alexandria. The aim is to prepare a conscious and mature Orthodox servant with a spiritual approach in special skills and creativity.
Father Youhanna Wadei, who is in charge of primary services in the district, began the presentation with a speech, then the project’s servants presented the goal of the program. Also, some participants had a presentation on the attendance of the program.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II then had a discussion with them about the program and he delivered a speech about:
“Work hard, Dream, Serve”.
After that, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II distributed certificates for the servants and participants.
His Grace Bishop Elarion, General Bishop of the Churches of the Western District of Alexandria, His Grace Bishop Hermina, General Bishop of the Churches of the Eastern District of Alexandria, and Father Abraam Emil, Deputy of the Patriarchate in Alexandria were also attending the presentation.
