His Holiness Catholicos Aram I Meets With The WCC Acting General Secretary in Geneva Dr. Ion Sauca

On Monday, November 1st, 2021, His Holiness Catholicos of Cilicia Aram I received the acting General Secretary of the World Council of Churches Dr. Ion Sauca, in Geneva. In attendance was Prof. Teny Pirri-Simonian, the Catholicosate’s Ecumenical Representative in Switzerland.

Dr. Sauca outlined the challenges faced by the WCC and the Ecumenical world. He also briefed on the preparations for the forthcoming General Assembly (representatives from the Catholicosate are also participating in the General Assembly preparatory committees), while His Holiness Catholicos Aram I shared his viewpoints on the matters.
