The Middle East Council of Churches Invites You to Its New Monthly Webinar

"Dignity for the Afflicted People"

The Middle East Council of Churches has the honor to invite you to its new monthly webinar, entitled "Dignity for the Afflicted People", on Thursday 30 March 2023, at 7:00 pm.

The webinar will start with a speech delivered by the MECC Secretary General Dr. Michel Abs. It will include 3 interventions on the topic at hand, and will be moderated by Dr. Chawki Attieh who will present an opening note which will be followed by a video and testimonials.

The first intervention is entitled "Preserving Dignity Through Service", with Eng. Samer Laham, Director of the Diakonia Department at the Middle East Council of Churches.

The second intervention is entitled "People Facing Disasters: Programs and Information", with Dr. Rudolf El-Kareh, General Coordinator of the First National Conference on Disaster Response.

The third intervention revolves around the title "Psychological and Spiritual Healing of the Afflicted People and Those Who Support Them: Two Inseparable Paths", with Sister Emilie Tannous, Former Director and the person in charge of implementing the “Trauma Healing and Spiritual Counseling” program at the Middle East Council of Churches.

This webinar is part of the series of monthly seminars launched by MECC, within the framework of the “Human Dignity Project” - “Dialogue and Social Cohesion-Social Capital Rehabilitation”.
