Among Them is UWYTA's Initiative, Recycle What You Throw Away

Working together to reduce environmental pollution has become necessary in order to preserve our common home that God created. Therefore, many organizations, associations and initiatives seek to extend its efforts to protect the environment and all its creatures. To shed light on these initiatives, an Eco-Exhibition was organized within the framework of the “Ecumenical Perspectives on Climate Change” Symposium held by the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) in cooperation with the Association of Theological Institutes in the Middle East (ATIME), on Wednesday 4 October 2023, at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - Lebanon.

The exhibition highlights the initiatives of several organizations, associations and youth movements in the field of the environment, including the initiative of UWYTA, Recycle What You Throw Away. In the video, Carina Khalil, an environmental activist, explains the work of this initiative and its objectives.
