"Come, you believers, who our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ saved with His pure blood, let’s glorify Him for what He bestowed on us of His generosity, and for the blessings He shared with us. He walked the path with us to this day, the last day of the Coptic year, where we stand with healthy bodies, and strong faith, following the footsteps of our forefathers. We thank Him for He did not judge us according to our bad deeds, He was patient and kept us till this day in peace, waiting for us to return to Him in repentance to grant us forgiveness” (from the Liturgy of the Coptic Orthodox Church).
