Standing Together in Prayer

“The angel answered, The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God” (Luke 1: 35).

“Oh God, have mercy on us and help us. O divine visitor, you are not only visiting us, but you united with our nature, and became a sacrifice for all human. How can we prepare for the secret of your great incarnation from the Virgin Mary? You were manifested in the flesh to make us partakers of God through the sonship of righteousness and holiness. To You, Your Father and Holy Spirit, be glory and praise forever” (from the Morning Prayer of the Season of Announcement and Birth of Our Lord at the Maronite Church).
