MECC Invites You to Its New Monthly Webinar

“Living In Dignity For Persons With Disability”

The Middle East Council of Churches invites you to participate in its new monthly webinar entitled “Living In Dignity For Persons With Disability”, on Thursday 8 December 2022, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The webinar will start with an opening note from the MECC Secretary General Dr. Michel Abs, and includes 2 sessions on the topic at hand. It will be moderated by Dr. Laure Abi Khalil, in addition to an English summary by Dr. Chawki Attieh.

The firsts session’s topic is “The Cause Of Persons With Disability From Marginalization To Tangible Achievements” with Dr. Nada Thabet, Chairman of the Village of Hope Association for Development and Social Rehabilitation of the Disabled, and Member of the Egyptian Parliament.

The second session is entitled “Dignity Of Persons With Disability: Violations And The Measures To Stop Them” with Dr. Nawaf Kabbara, President of the Arab Organization for Persons with Disability.

This webinar is part of the series of monthly seminars launched by MECC, within the framework of the “Human Dignity Project” as part of the work of a department that is being developed in MECC under the name of “Dialogue and Social Cohesion-Social Capital Rehabilitation”.
