Standing Together in Prayer

From the Early Prayer in the Coptic Orthodox Church:

O source of light, shine your sun the righteous and sinners of the East. Creator of the light that shines on our world, enlighten our minds, hearts and knowledge, O Master of all. Help us, today, to do as you please. Guard us from evil, sin, and from every sinful force through Jesus Christ our Lord. He with whom you are blessed, along with your equally life-giving Holy Spirit, now and till the end of times. Amen.
