From the prayer of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Catholic Church:
O omnipotent eternal Father, look at the heart of your beloved Son, and the praises and penances he gives you on behalf of sinners and those who ask for your grace. Forgive them contentfully after their trespasses, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you through the union of the Holy Spirit for eternity. Amen.
