Vocational training courses to develop women's skills in Lebanon

The MECC Service and Relief Department - Diakonia organized vocational training courses for 175 women, with the aim of developing their abilities and enhancing their skills. This program came in the context of supporting and empowering women in the society.

Therefore, a group of women were able to get away and disconnect from daily family stress while learning new crafts, and they learned how to embroider decorative cloths for the dining table.

In addition, 108 women attended soft skill sessions including painting on wood, organized by the Diakonia department, and each received in the end a soft skill kit.

Moreover, 10 beneficiaries participated in 30 hours on soap production in Tebnin and Hebbaryeh in South Lebanon.

Noting that the MECC team distributed canning tools materials for 45 women in in Akkar and Mount Lebanon, in preparation for the next training.
