Télé Lumière - Noursat dedicated a weekly segment for the Middle East Council of Churches every Thursday in "AL Nour Maana" show, to discuss the latest updates regarding the MECC appeal as well its relief and development projects in Beirut.

Last week: Mr. Ziad El Sayegh, MECC Policies and Communication Advisor, was the guest of the journalist Lea Maamari on the show. During his interview, he underlined the MECC’s role amid the challenges resulting from the Beirut Port blast. He also mentioned the joint statement issued by the Middle East Council of Churches, the World Council of Churches and ACT Alliance, in which these organizations called for a transparent and international investigation. In addition, he featured the MECC appeal for the relief of Beirut and its Theological statement towards this disaster. Moreover, El Sayegh highlighted the MECC’s mission in preserving the dignity of everyone and its humanitarian and relief role in all the Middle Eastern countries.
