MECC helps 150 families living in difficult conditions

Amid the economic, social and health crises, that have been exacerbated by the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the team of Our Lady Dispensary (OLD), which is affiliated to the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) and located in Sabtiyeh - Lebanon, helped 150 deprived Lebanese families including elderly members. The team distributed vouchers amounting to 150,000 Lebanese Liras each.

This program was organized in collaboration with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and the families were chosen from the list of beneficiaries who often participate in the activities and programs launched by Our Lady Dispensary.

Each family received two vouchers from a supermarket that has different sections including household items and cleaning supplies, for the beneficiaries to choose whatever they need.
